From Two Left Feet to Center Stage: The 5 Best Dance Studios in Vietnam

Instructor Expertise: We looked for studios led by certified professionals with real-world performance experience and recognized credentials.

Facility Quality: We checked for essential safety features like sprung floors and professional sound systems to ensure a safe practice environment.

Class Variety: We prioritized schools offering a mix of styles to suit different skill levels, from absolute beginners to aspiring professionals.

Community Vibe: We assessed whether the environment felt welcoming and inclusive for new students and seasoned dancers alike.

Stepping into a dance studio for the first time, or even the fiftieth, can be wildly intimidating.

You walk in hoping to channel your inner K-pop idol, but deep down, you’re terrified you’ll just end up tripping over your own feet in front of a giant wall of mirrors.

I know the feeling. That’s exactly why I decided to embrace the awkwardness and personally check out the local scene, hunting for spaces where you can genuinely just enjoy moving.

Professionals in Hanoi find spaces here to shake off a grueling workday, while parents in Ho Chi Minh City discover legit dance classes that won’t make their kids cry. Vietnam’s dance scene is surprisingly packed with hidden gems.

After a lot of sweat, a few missed beats, and discovering some incredibly welcoming communities, I’ve narrowed down the best dance studios in Vietnam that balance real technique with pure fun.

So grab your shoes, ‘cause here is where you need to be dancing next.

How much do dance lessons cost in Vietnam?

Class fees accommodate various local budgets, though prices fluctuate based on your specific training goals.

Casual sweat sessions typically cost around 300,000 to 350,000 VND for a standard 90-minute class.

Committed dancers can save significantly by buying packages, which often brings the per-class rate down to under 275,000 VND.

For those just wanting a fun night out, social clubs, especially for salsa, lessons are a steal at roughly 70,000 VND and often include a drink.

Dancers needing space to rehearse on their own can rent a small studio for about 120,000 VND per hour, while large halls for groups run closer to 300,000 VND.

1. Dancenter Vietnam

dancenter-vietnam

Website: https://www.dancentervn.com/

Address: 53 Nguyen Dang Giai, An Khanh Ward (formerly Thao Dien), Ho Chi Minh City

Contact: 028 3519 4490 | [email protected]

Schedule:

  • Mon-Fri 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 08:30 PM
  • Sat 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Dancenter Vietnam strikes a noticeable balance between professional training and accessible neighborhood classes right in Thao Dien.

Toddlers take their first steps to music in one room, while teenagers prepare for international careers with the Top Dancers Company in another.

Earning a spot in this audition-only crew gives young dancers direct access to international competition stages and professional theatrical productions.

The facility features sprung Marley floors to protect joints during intense routines. As an official member of the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD), the studio provides a rigorous curriculum.

Busy professionals can easily join casual drop-in sessions after navigating Saigon traffic, while serious dancers have the option to audition for the elite company.

I also love their diverse offerings, like specialized Acro courses and unique Body Flow adult classes that blend martial arts with dance. This high-quality instruction requires a larger budget, placing it among the pricier options in the city.

The strict uniform policies for leveled classes also enforce discipline, which means the vibe leans more toward focused training rather than a purely relaxed, recreational hangout.

Pros

  • Official ATOD curriculum
  • Sprung Marley floors
  • Elite Top Dancers Company path
  • Acro and Body Flow classes

Cons

  • Higher price point
  • Strict uniform policies
  • Rigorous, less casual atmosphere

The best dance studio in Vietnam!
The best dance studio in Vietnam! Their diversified dance classes are suitable for all passionate kids, teenagers and adults. Whether you wish to discover the art of dancing or improve your skills – the international team of top dance teachers will assist and inspire you.

I have been faithfull to this friendly place for 17 years and cannot imagine living without Dancenter!

Highly recommend!
My daughter has danced at different studios in the US and Hong Kong, but Dancenter is our favorite studio anywhere. She does Acro with Mr. Hiếu and he was able to teach her things in just a few short weeks that she had worked on for months in the US to no avail. His class is both incredibly fun and the kids are super motivated to work hard. My daughter wants to practice all the time. My husband (who is picky about teachers) also is very impressed with Mr. Hiếu and Dancenter. Highly recommend!

2. Saigon Dance

Address: 94-96 Street No. 2, Do Thanh Residential Area, Ban Co Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

Contact: (8428) 38 329 429 | 0902 322 361 | [email protected]

Schedule:

  • Mon-Fri 6:30 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Sat 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Sun 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Restless movers eager to try multiple styles find exactly what they need at Saigon Dance.

Their classes cover a massive range, offering K-pop and trending TikTok routines right alongside specialized Aerial Hoop sessions.

Operating since 2008, this studio accommodates the hectic schedules of local professionals with classes starting as early as 6:30 AM.

I actually dropped by for a late evening session once, and despite the late hour, the energy in the room was still absolutely electric. This gave us a great way to sweat out the workday stress before heading home for dinner.

It’s a highly accessible and flexible space to get fit and learn new skills, but its broad appeal means that they operate on a mass training model. This results in larger class sizes.

Students wanting hyper-personalized attention or detailed one-on-one corrections usually need to book private sessions instead.

Pros

  • 20 distinct disciplines available on the schedule
  • Flexible hours running from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM
  • In-house performance ecosystem with costume rentals
  • Multiple facilities equipped with air-conditioned rooms

Cons

  • Mass training model lacks intimacy
  • Large class sizes limit one-on-one corrections
  • Administrative support can sometimes be slow to respond

Couldn’t recommend more
Tons of different dance classes and even stretching / yoga classes for those interested.
Big dance rooms. Air conditioned. Mirrored walls to watch yourself. Clean water outside every room. Energetic, friendly teachers. English speaking staff for foreigners like me 😅

I really enjoy coming here!
I’ve been there several times for their Pilates classes, I love them!

The classes are high quality, the instructor is friendly, and the price is good!

The class is in Vietnamese, but the first few times, the instructor makes sure you understand the exercises, and when it’s time to change exercises or if your posture is incorrect, he corrects you in English.

Only locals come; I’m always the only foreigner, but I’ve never been made to feel uncomfortable because I’m not Vietnamese. I’ve never felt excluded, and I really enjoy coming here!

M Pole Aerial focuses entirely on vertical arts in Da Nang, specializing in apparatus-based disciplines like Pole Dance and Aerial Silk.

Led by Ms. Vy, the instructors bring over a decade of hands-on experience to every session.

Instead of just drilling tricks, the classes incorporate backbends and aerial stretching to protect your joints and keep your body healthy.

Locals who frequently travel for work benefit immensely from their dual-membership option, which allows access to partner studios in Ho Chi Minh City.

They also run unique fusion workshops, mixing disciplines like chair pole or double hoop, to keep the training dynamic.

Dancers seeking traditional floor styles, like hip-hop or ballet, need to look elsewhere, as the curriculum centers strictly on aerial arts and flexibility recovery.

Pros

  • Dual-membership valid in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City
  • Unique fusion classes like Chair Pole and Double Hoop
  • Curriculum incorporates backbends and aerial stretching
  • Aerial yoga is offered alongside pole fitness

I recommend this studio to anyone
I loved my pole dance classes here. The studio is beautiful and the teacher, Vy, is very knowledgeable. I learned a lot from her and could see myself getting stronger and more flexible on the pole. She challenges you but always makes sure you feel safe. I recommend this studio to anyone who is looking to start their aerial journey or to advance their practice.

A fun experience
What started off as a somewhat dare turned into a fun experience. V, the instructor was quite helpful especially since my Vietnamese is limited. This was my first time trying anything like this and she spoke fluently and communicated well in English. At the end of each class she ensures that you have something to take away, be that a video or photo which I think is a plus. My goal now is to try to get better so I can attract some rich Phú Bà

4. Salsa Da Nang

salsa-da-nang

Website: https://salsadanang.com/

Address: 31 Pham Cu Luong Street, An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang, Vietnam

Contact: [email protected]

Schedule:

  • Mon-Wed 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Sat 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Salsa Da Nang prepares students directly for social dance floors rather than formal stage performances.

Students here benefit heavily from founder Lucho Giraldes, who brings over two decades of international teaching experience directly to Da Nang. His curriculum emphasizes musicality and partner connection so you can comfortably dance with anyone.

He breaks down complex movements into manageable steps, eliminating the frustration beginners often feel. The experience is highly specialized, focusing almost exclusively on Salsa and Bachata.

The studio seamlessly integrates weekly social parties at local venues into its program, giving students immediate, real-world spaces to practice what they learn.

While its English-first instruction attracts many expats, local Vietnamese dancers frequent these classes to practice their language skills while mastering Latin rhythms.

And because they use partner venues instead of a dedicated dance complex, students do not have access to amenities like sprung floors or private showers.

Pros

  • Instruction led by experienced dancer Lucho Giraldes
  • English-first instruction helps locals practice language skills
  • Integrated weekly social events for real-world practice
  • Students can join classes without a dance partner

Cons

  • Curriculum focused exclusively on Salsa and Bachata
  • Partner venues lack dedicated showers or sprung floors

Valuable moments with the passion for dancing 💃 🕺
I have experienced with Lucho teacher’s  class here. It’s a great feeling. Full of energy and laughter and always look forward the time going to class. Thank you  Lucho teacher and my classmates for giving me valuable moments with the passion for dancing 💃 🕺 …

One of the main reasons I keep coming back to Da Nang
Lucho is a truly cheerful, passionate, and talented dancer as well as a salsa teacher. With him, you can build a solid foundation in salsa from the very basics, all while learning and enjoying the dance in a warm and fun atmosphere. One of the main reasons I keep coming back to Da Nang is to take his salsa classes.

5. Le Cirque Giang Văn Minh

le-cirque-giang-van-minh

Website: https://lecirque.vn/

Address: No. 6, Lane 73 Giang Van Minh, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi

Contact: 0906 216 232 | [email protected]

Schedule:

  • Mon-Thurs 12–1:15 PM 6–9 PM
  • Fri 6:00 – 9:00 PM
  • Sat-Sun 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Le Cirque is a staple in Hanoi’s dance community and consistently welcomes complete beginners without the pressure of intense scrutiny.

They launch new starter courses every month, ensuring new students learn the basics together, instead of struggling to catch up with an advanced group. Courses cover popular styles like sexy dance, shuffle, and contemporary.

I love that they prioritize the joy of movement over strict technical exams. It provides a low-stress environment for locals wanting a fun hobby or a creative way to exercise after office hours.

Since their primary focus is recreational, dancers looking for rigorous competitive training or vocational certification might find the curriculum too casual for their long-term professional goals.

Pros

  • Monthly starter courses cater directly to absolute beginners
  • Large network of studio locations across Hanoi
  • Schedule covers upbeat styles like Sexy Dance and Shuffle
  • Hybrid online and offline learning options available

Cons

  • Recreational focus lacks academic rigor
  • Curriculum not suitable for vocational certification
