I know it all too well when they say grocery shopping is a form of therapy, regardless of whether it’s in person or online. Don’t get me wrong, I love the feeling of browsing through aisle after aisle and filling up the cart— but sometimes, getting groceries straight to your door just wins.
So, if ever I’m having a lazy Sunday or one of those humid Vietnamese afternoons strikes, I let these grocery delivery platforms in Vietnam do the part.
Trust me, it’s still satisfying to do a little grocery haul at home and organize them one by one.
1. GrabMart

As part of the famous Grab super app, users can use the GrabMart category to order everyday grocery essentials, such as snacks, fresh produce, and ingredients, and have them delivered, often in under an hour, right at your doorstep.
Users can search for products from various stores, including major supermarkets in Vietnam like Mega Market.
For users, Grab is a convenient app since, apart from groceries, you can also get food and rides from the same app, plus it’s available in major cities in Vietnam.
Grab also regularly runs limited-time discounts using vouchers for first-time users, part of premium perks (better deals).
Under the GrabUnlimited Subscription Plan, GrabMart users will regularly get discount vouchers with multiple uses, earn points, and save money.
However, with Grab, the delivery fee is not fixed, and it surges due to dynamic pricing. Meaning, it changes in real-time and gets expensive during peak hours (lunch, dinner, weekend, holidays) when there’s more demand than supply.

Their products lean more toward organic produce and imported goods, so their prices can be a little more expensive than those of other generic supermarkets. But if you’re looking for a convenient way to get whole foods and organic essentials, this is one way.
But the good thing about Annam Gourmet is that their delivery services are door-to-door and include special offers. For example, free delivery for a minimum spend of 1,000,000 VND within a 4 km radius.
For loyalty tier benefits, like for “Diamond customers,” the delivery is free regardless of the bill and radius.

Just like GrabMart, you can use the ShopeeFood app to order fresh food, groceries, and other household essentials from one of their partner supermarkets or convenience stores.
You can even find a “local produce” section in the app since ShopeeFood Vietnam cooperates with the initiative in sourcing quality Vietnamese produce.
Their fast delivery system is designed to handle immediate needs. Their coverage is mainly among the major cities and urban centers, but they’re also continuously expanding to other provinces in Vietnam.
Since ShopeeFood is a part of the main Shopee e-commerce app, users can just use their existing account information and use Shopee’s own e-wallet for seamless payments.
Plus, the voucher codes, partner promotions, and occasional free delivery offers are helpful as well.

Winmart (formerly known as Vinmart) is a well-known grocery retailer and one of the biggest supermarket and convenience store chains in Vietnam. However, this rebranding still causes confusion in names and app references.
This retail chain operates in two ways: WinMart (supermarket format) and WinMart+ (smaller convenience stores found in neighborhoods and apartment complexes).
WinMart offers grocery delivery services through its own platforms and third-party partners (GrabMart and ShopeeFood).
Services through their own platforms are pretty broad: first, customers can order through their official e-commerce website or mobile app, where they can arrange a specific time of delivery.
They also have a “Scan & Go” feature, which allows those who shop in person to scan a barcode and arrange their packed orders to be delivered later.
Lastly, Winmart launched its “Virtual Stores” where they have QR codes on various locations, like bus stops, and customers can scan these codes to order through a mobile app.
