The 5 Best Laundry Shops in Vietnam That are Fast and Reliable

Expat-Friendly: We looked for shops with services that are inclusive to travellers/foreigners, preferably with easy-to-understand menus and staff that can communicate in English.

Accessible and Convenient: We prioritized looking for shops that are easy to reach, flexible with hours, and reliable pick-up/delivery.

Comprehensive Services: We selected the shops that offer packages and go beyond the standard laundry services.

Turnaround Times: Reliable turnaround was also prioritized, most especially those shops that can accommodate same-day delivery and rush service.

We all have our favorite and most hated household chores, and in my case, I hate doing the laundry. It’s the task that I’ll gladly pass on to someone else if I can.

And now that laundry services in Vietnam are a thing, you best believe that I am taking full advantage of them. They’re practically everywhere now, but you still have to choose them wisely, because a so-so shop can ruin everything.

These shops, however, are the ones that you can rely on just as much as I do.

How much do laundry services cost in Vietnam?

Laundry services in Vietnam typically cost between 10,000 VND and 60,000 VND, depending on the rate per load/kg, service speed, and package.

1. Hanoi Laundry Shop

Phone: +84915253490

Business hours: 24 hours

Website

Hanoi Laundry Shop offers a full wash-fold-press laundry service. Its services are very expat-friendly since you can schedule a pick-up and the staff will come to your hotel or home to collect the laundry.

If you call in or drop off early, they can deliver the clean clothes on the same day. Otherwise, next-day delivery is more common. But in case you’re in need of urgent service, they can also do a “super quick” one-hour rush service at an additional cost.

They charge in dollars, and their rates are a little more expensive than the others. Rates start at $1.5 (around 50,000 VND) per kg with a minimum load of 1–2kg. Though you’ll get a free delivery if you have more than 5kg of laundry and you’re staying within the Old Quarter.

Pros

  • Full service
  • Pick-up and delivery
  • Fast turnaround
  • Option for rush service
  • Expat-friendly
  • Free delivery

Cons

  • Higher rates

Loved the service! 10/10

“Aussie travelling through Vietnam. We used Hanoi Laundry Shop, messaged them via WhatsApp, got a response within 5 minutes to organise pick up and drop off. Even had the option to leave our laundry & payment at our hotel reception. Great pricing compared to in-house hotel laundry services. They were very professional, accommodating, and great with communication. Look how neat everything came back!”

“They picked up our dirty laundry from our hotel and returned it clean and fresh. The whole process was super easy, organised via WhatsApp, and they even sorted our clothes into darks and lights. They were meticulous about packaging, too! We’ve used them twice already and can’t recommend enough – a total game-changer for travellers!”

Phone: +84848372333

Business hours: Monday to Sunday, 7:30 AM–10 PM

Giặt Sấy is more of a traditional, storefront-style laundry, so its services are good for both walk-ins and a quick drop-off.

Although they don’t have their own delivery service, it’s still available via third-party services, like Grab, which, in fact, many expats appreciate.

They handle the typical laundry service: wash, dry, and fold. The laundromat is pretty reliable when it comes to turnaround times— especially if clothes are dropped off early, you’ll definitely get them back by the end of the day.

Prices are pretty affordable as well, starting around 25,000 VND per kilo. You can choose if you want a full wash + dry + fold package or just a dry/wash-only service.

Pros

  • Comprehensive services
  • Affordable rates
  • Long operating hours
  • Expat-friendly
  • Reliable turnaround

Cons

  • Delivery service

Great

Tourists hear this! No need to do your laundry by yourself, just bring it here. Price is per kilo and very affordable. The shop will wash, dry, and even iron it for you, then fold it neatly in a bag ready to pick up. Same-day service. Staff are very friendly as well.”

Nice service

“We came to this place as it was close to where we stayed, and we were quite happy with the service. Handed them almost 10kg of clothes at around 7:30 am, and we could pick them up at around 2 pm, folded nicely in a plastic bag, brownie points!”

Address: 151A Lê Thị Riêng, Phường Phạm Ngũ Lão, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh

Phone: +84969669781

Business hours: Monday to Sunday, 8 AM–9 PM

Website

If you prefer taking care of your own laundry, Sesa is a reliable coin laundry option. It’s not your typical spot, since it’s more of a modernized version compared to other laundromats.

They use Japanese equipment plus an IoT-management system, so you get access to a web page where you can monitor the progress of your laundry remotely. Meaning, you can go out for other errands or hang out at a coffee shop while you wait and still come back on time.

One token costs 10,000 VND and is equivalent to a six-minute run. You can buy as many as needed for your load. But you’ll be exchanging these tokens via a machine, so make sure you only bring 10,000, 20,000, 50,000, and 100,000 denominations.

You can find Sesa Coin Laundry in many locations in Vietnam. Some branches, like in Hanoi, are open 24/7.

Pros

  • Cost efficient
  • Modern machinery and technology
  • Great capacity
  • Comprehensive services
  • Accessible

Cons

  • Self-service
  • May not be good for delicate clothes

I had a great experience at this self-service laundry!

“The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the whole process super easy even for a first-timer like me. The machines are fast and efficient, and the place is clean and well-organized. Prices are very affordable, too, which is a big plus. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick laundry!”

Ariza Rachman, Google Reviews

This is not just the best laundry option in Vietnam but arguably the world!

“I have never come across such a well put together, clean, and high-quality washer shop! The machines are top-of-the-line equipment from Japan and are very clean! This is an excellent value that very few people seem to know about. The value here is amazing and will best getting your clothes done in a hotel or other expensive or risky option. The machines are online, so you can track when your clothes are ready, should you decide not to hang around. Bottom line, if you do not find this to be the best laundry experience ever, I would love to know what beats it.”

Heramo is also a famous laundry chain in Vietnam with branches in major cities in Vietnam, providing premium and high-quality laundry services.

The laundromat has its own app where you can manage your pick-up and delivery times, leave specific instructions, and track your laundry’s progress. It’s very convenient, especially if you regularly get laundry services.
