The 5 Best Yoga Classes in Vietnam Offering Calm Amid City Chaos

Location and Atmosphere: The setting plays a huge role in your practice, so we looked for spaces that offer an escape from the city noise or maximize the natural beauty of Vietnam.

Instructor Expertise: A class is only as good as the teacher, so we prioritized studios with highly qualified instructors who hold legitimate certifications and offer bilingual guidance.

Class Variety: Different days call for different energy levels, which means a top-tier studio needs to offer styles ranging from sweaty power flows to restorative yin.

Facilities and Amenities: We checked for essential comforts to see if the studio supports a hassle-free experience for busy professionals.

Community Vibe: Yoga is often about connection, so I gauged how welcoming and inclusive the environment feels for newcomers who might be walking in alone.

City life brings a constant energy. But after a long week of work and commuting, stress accumulates.

I needed to switch off completely and undo the physical stress of office hours and city living. I sought a sanctuary rather than a generic gym session under fluorescent lights.

That’s how I found these yoga studios that offer pauses in the chaos. Here are the best yoga classes in Vietnam that actually helped me find my flow.

How much does a yoga class cost in Vietnam?

Drop-in yoga sessions in Vietnam typically range from 200,000 VND to 300,000 VND.

Residents and long-term practitioners find better value in monthly memberships.

Committing to a monthly membership or a 10-class pass brings the per-class cost down significantly.

You might pay around 2,200,000 VND for a bundle of ten classes, or a flat monthly rate starting from 800,000 VND for basic access up to 1,500,000 VND for premium studios.

Private one-on-one sessions are the splurge option, usually kicking off at 1,000,000 VND for personalized attention.

1. OM ĐÂY Yoga Hoi An

om-day-yoga-hoi-an

Website: https://omdayhoian.com/

Address: 56 Le Thanh Tong Street, Cam Son Ward, Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province

Contact: 0942 042 093

Schedule:

  • Mon-Sat 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Sun 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

OM ĐÂY Yoga Hoi An places you right in the middle of Vietnam’s iconic rice paddies. Here, your drishti (gaze point) is a lush green field or a water buffalo rather than a blank wall.

They’re also one of the few places in town with a legitimate Aerial Yoga program, offering classes like “Lyra Hoop” for those wanting to try something adventurous.

Their overall vibe relieves the pressure often felt in super serious studios. You can feel that family atmosphere the moment you walk in, especially with the little library they have.

But because you are practically outside, you have to embrace the elements.

There’s no air conditioning, so you will definitely be sweating from the humidity, and you might have to dodge the occasional insect during your practice.

Pros

  • Stunning open-air rice paddy views
  • Specialized Aerial and Lyra classes
  • Inclusive and non-intimidating vibe
  • Strong community with social events

Cons

  • No air conditioning available
  • Exposure to insects and humidity

Best yoga studio I’ve ever been to
The best yoga studio I’ve ever been to, not just in Vietnam, but worldwide 🙂 I tried Aerial for the first time and continued for months afterward. It’s so much fun, strengthening, and you learn so much more about your body. All the other classes are fantastic, too: The instructors are lovely, kind and really care about each student, the classes are well-planned and always adapted to the needs of the group. I highly recommend this studio! 🙂

Yoga Lab Hanoi functions as a sanctuary for healing, offering specialized Sound Bath Immersions alongside a diverse menu of physical classes. Located in the Truc Bach area, it provides an escape from the city noise.

Beyond standard flows, the schedule includes unique offerings, like Full Body Mobility and Strong Start classes that cater to specific physical needs.

Being part of the Atman Holistic Wellness ecosystem means the focus here runs deeper than just burning calories, touching on energy healing and Reiki as well.

You won’t get lost in translation during a complicated transition. The teachers aren’t just personal trainers; they’re highly qualified, often holding advanced certifications in specific therapies.

The biggest downside here is the lack of shower facilities. Without showers, squeezing in a sweaty Vinyasa session before a dinner date or a meeting is inconvenient.

  • Part of a holistic wellness ecosystem
  • Quiet sanctuary away from city noise

Cons

The power vinyasa class was a great flow
Great class and lovely space! They provide mats and hand towels. The power vinyasa class was a great flow, both challenging and stretchy. Taught in English and Vietnamese. Easy to buy a drop in class and book online.

Much needed escape from the busy streets of Hanoi
Participated in grounded yoga, it was much needed escape from the busy streets of Hanoi. The instructor spoke in both English & Vietnamese, it was really easy to follow. I would recommend for beginners to advanced as you are given different options depending on your limits.

If you need to feel grounded and at peace for an hour away from the noisy streets of Hanoi I recommend taking the grounded class.

3. Purna Yoga

purna-yoga

Website: https://www.purnayogavietnam.com/

Address: Block C Phan Xich Long Apartment, C104-105, Ward 7, Phu Nhuan Dist Ho Chi Minh City

Contact: 0903 878 087 | [email protected]

Schedule: Daily 5:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Purna Yoga appeals to those who prioritize precision, as they specialize in Anusara Yoga, which focuses on alignment and heart-oriented philosophy.

This isn’t your usual gym yoga class, as sessions focus on mechanics rather than simple mimicry. They even have niche classes dedicated specifically to handstands, which help students conquer inversions safely.

Their name comes from the Sanskrit word for “complete,” and they truly aim for a holistic approach that connects mental well-being with physical discipline.

One of their coolest features is the hybrid model. You can join classes online or offline, which is a lifesaver for digital nomads.

However, due to the intimate studio size, classes are strictly capped at a small number of students. This makes booking prime evening slots difficult for anyone with an unpredictable schedule or last-minute plans.

Pros

  • Specialized Anusara alignment focus
  • Dedicated handstand and inversion classes
  • Hybrid online and offline schedule
  • Teachers trained to instruct in English

Cons

  • Limited class capacity

A sanctuary. 😇
Everything here is amazing 😇😇😇

The yoga isn’t just a place to shape the body. It’s a place to transform the mind. It teaches discipline, patience, and persistence. It’s an escape from the stress of daily life. Whether you’re sad, angry, frustrated, or anxious, as soon as you enter the yoga, the world melts away and you focus on only improving yourself.

It’s not just a yoga room , it’s a sanctuary. 😇

4. Naia Yoga + Cafe

Address: 60 Nguyen Phan Vinh, Cam An, Hoi An

Contact: 098 835 1658 | [email protected]

Schedule:

  • Mon-Sat 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Naia Yoga + Cafe features a “Sea and Soil” concept that lets you choose between a breezy beachfront deck or a secluded spa setting in the rice fields.

It creates a comprehensive wellness loop where you can move from a yoga class directly into a healthy meal designed by a nutritionist.

This integration functions like a mini-retreat center where you can spend half your day. The atmosphere here is incredibly intimate and home-like, avoiding the commercial feel of larger resorts.

I sat down for a macrobiotic lunch at their cafe after a morning flow, and the quality of the ingredients really validated their promise of being a complete health ecosystem. It bridges the gap between workout and recovery perfectly.

This premium experience does come at a cost. The drop-in rate is around 300,000 VND. This is noticeably pricier than other local studios in Hoi An that typically charge 200,000 VND.

Pros

  • Choice of beach or rice field setting
  • On-site nutritionist-led cafe
  • Intimate small group class sizes
  • Complete wellness and spa ecosystem

Cons

  • Higher drop-in price point

A great place to unwind and enjoy a calm, nature-filled atmosphere
A beautiful spot surrounded by trees and with fresh sea air, making it very relaxing and peaceful. I tried their banana bread and turmeric drink — both were enjoyable, with the banana bread being moist and flavorful, and the turmeric drink warming and subtly spiced. A great place to unwind and enjoy a calm, nature-filled atmosphere.

You can get exactly the experience you want.
I came to Hoi An specifically to develop my practice. Naia Yoga was the perfect way for me to do that. The teachers are all so knowledgeable and friendly. They offer many different classes a day, so you can get exactly the experience you want. Getting a monthly pass was definitely the right decision for me

The founder brings over a decade of experience in both solopreneurship and health, creating a curriculum that addresses career stress just as much as tight hamstrings.

Their holistic mind-body methodology uses therapeutic yoga to tackle the physical side effects of office life. Professionals can benefit from a teacher who understands the pressures of running a business.

Nguyên, holding certifications as an International Personal Trainer and a 500H Yoga Alliance teacher, gets you a safety-first approach that combines gym science with yoga philosophy.

Offers variations and options for various asanas
The place was clean and organized. The Yoga Studio both caters Vietnamese and English speaking students. The teacher mindfully teaches, guides his students, and offers variations and options for various asanas.

A moment of peace and calm
I’m delighted to have been able to practice yoga during my trip in Vietnam.

It was important for me to find a moment of peace and calm in all the hustle and bustle of the trip.

I’m grateful to Nguyen, who is a teacher who listens and is rigorous in his practice. He adapts to all levels and corrects our postures if necessary. My friend and I have been there 2 times, and we were very satisfied when we left the class.

I recommend him!

Many thanks Nguyen 🧘🏻‍♀️✨
