Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Kinderland International Preschool is highly recognized for its signature music-infused curriculum designed to boost early brain development.
This school really stands out because it uses music to help kids with coordination and academic growth starting as early as 18 months.
I visited the campus recently and was impressed by the specialized in-house kitchen. The staff even showed me how they prepare highly nutritious meals daily, which is a huge relief for busy parents.
The outdoor playground was recently renovated, and it looks like a fantastic spot for safe physical activity. They also emphasize real-world learning through frequent field trips to local community centers.
One downside is that the premium facilities come with a higher price tag than your average local school. Also, because it is in the Vista Verde community, the high demand from local families means you might face a waitlist for certain age groups.

2. Little Giants International Kindergarten

Little Giants delivers the UK’s British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum while remaining very affordable for families. They’re incredibly transparent about their fee structure, which I find very refreshing in the international school market.
When I spoke with a parent there, they mentioned that the flexible monthly scheduling was a lifesaver for their busy work week. Also, the classes are kept strictly small, so their child gets a lot of one-on-one attention from the teachers.
Children here also get a freshly prepared, nutritious lunch included in the standard rate, which saves a lot of morning prep time. Just note that they don’t accept infants under 24 months.
Since it’s a smaller community-focused school, you won’t find the massive corporate campus facilities here. On the bright side, it feels much more intimate and personal than the giant international chains.

After a terrible experience at SIS, we came to this school on the recommendation of a mother I knew, and it was the best thing that could have happened to us. Capable teachers and a good environment to develop their minds.Thank you so much!

Really great Kindergarten in all ways. Our child loved it from day one. They were really good at dealing with the fact we were in Da Nang for only a couple of weeks with no certainty of a longer stay. Highly recommend Little Giants!

3. Montessori Vietnam Canada Preschool

Montessori Vietnam Canada Preschool functions as a facility that integrates the certified Montessori approach with a rigorous Canadian educational framework.
Its location in Thu Duc makes the morning commute much easier for families in the area. The classroom environments are also quite special because everything is physically scaled to a child’s size to encourage independent exploration.
I dropped by once and saw the kids using authentic Montessori materials. It was amazing to see how self-disciplined they were at such a young age.
The school also does a great job of combining Vietnamese cultural values with international standards for a true bilingual experience here.
One major aspect to consider is that the self-directed nature of Montessori might not fit parents who prefer a more rigid, traditional academic structure with fixed schedules.
Furthermore, because this is one of the only certified programs in its area, the high demand means it can be quite difficult to find a spot for a mid-year transfer.

From the first time I came to the school, I was very impressed by the airy space, modern facilities and safe, close arrangement for the children. The teachers are gentle, loving children, always making parents feel secure. Children learn according to the Montessori method so they are very proactive, creative, progress clearly and learn faster thanks to the Montessori method. (Translated)

4. Sky International Preschool Tay Ho

Sky International Preschool is a legend in Hanoi, having been the first international preschool established there back in 1994. It uses a Reggio-Emilia-inspired program that’s perfect for families who value play-based learning and creative expression.
The student body here is incredibly diverse, with over 50 different nationalities creating a truly global atmosphere for the kids. I loved seeing their specialized “Atelier” art studio, where kids can get really messy and creative.
Their teacher-to-student ratio is fantastic because they use international teachers paired with Vietnamese assistants in every room.
However, the deep international integration means the tuition fees are at the top tier for the city. Moreover, its long-standing reputation also means the waitlists can be quite lengthy, especially for the younger age brackets.

5. Little Saigon Kindergarten

Website: http://littlesaigon.edu.vn/
Address: 63/16 Duong So 36, Linh Dong Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City
Contact: +84 967 168 058
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Little Saigon Kindergarten focuses entirely on a Reggio Emilia-inspired bilingual model that lets children lead their own learning journey.
With this approach, the physical environment serves as a “third teacher,” with every corner of the classroom designed for hands-on discovery.
On the flip side, the unstructured nature of the Reggio philosophy might frustrate parents who want to track specific academic milestones every week.
On a positive note, the educators here are specifically trained in modern observation strategies to help children grow at their own pace.
I watched a session where the kids were exploring sensory materials, and the teachers were so patient and observant. This immersive bilingual setting is great for accelerating language skills in both English and Vietnamese.
One thing to consider it that its location deep in the Linh Dong area could be a very long commute if you live in the central districts of Ho Chi Minh City.
