The 5 Best Day Spas in Hanoi for When You Knead a Break

  • Therapist Expertise: We checked the formal training and certification levels of the massage staff. Highly skilled therapists ensure a safe and effective relaxation experience.
  • Treatment Variety: A great spa should offer multiple modalities to suit different needs. We looked for places providing everything from deep tissue work to specialized prenatal care.
  • Atmosphere and Environment: The physical setting plays a huge role in your ability to unwind. We prioritized facilities offering quiet, secluded, and clean private rooms.
  • Value and Perks: We evaluated the overall cost alongside any included bonuses like complimentary meals or drinks. Spas that offer transparent pricing and extra hospitality scored higher on our list.

Beautiful and clean facility

Best Spa ever! I had the best 60 minutes deep tissue massage.

Very friendly staff! Beautiful and clean facility. The lady that did my massage has miraculous hands, after she finished, I felt so relaxed.

This is the last day of my vacation…  so glad  I came here, going back to Boston feeling brand new.

Very relaxing

From the moment you walk into the spa, you feel very comfortable and the receptionists take good care of you. I had a Basic Facial by therapist 28, and there is nothing basic about the facial – it was amazing! Very relaxing and I was also given a head massage while the face mask was on. I returned the following day to have hot stones massage by therapist 19, and this treatment was also amazing – so warm and therapeutic. I would highly recommend both treatments, and to visit the spa when in Hanoi! Thank you 🙂

Serene Spa employs certified professional therapists who complete a 300-hour training program approved by the Ministry of Health. They also follow a holistic three-part approach focused on movement, breathing, and healing to help guests recharge.

The experience feels even more relaxing inside their private, multi-sensory suites. One client we spoke with recently tried the ginger-infused deep tissue massage and said the warming sensation felt amazing on their tired legs.

Before each session, guests also receive a complimentary warm foot soak with pure salts, adding a calming touch to the experience.

Just know that the ginger extract used in their deep muscle treatments can cause a burning sensation. If you have sensitive skin, it may be better to avoid the warming botanicals.

Pros

  • Peaceful setting in an ancient house
  • Highly trained professional therapists
  • Private multi-sensory treatment suites
  • Complimentary warm salt foot soak

Cons

  • Ginger treatments can cause a burning sensation

The Spa was clean and very inviting

Made a last minute reservation on my last day in Vietnam, I choose 90 minute deep tissue massage and had Rose as my massage therapist she was very professional and provided great service. She got to all my pressure points and made my experience one where I will definitely return many times! The Spa was clean and very inviting!

Professional and nice

Receptionists were very nice, they accommodated us last minute at the end of the day. Therapist – Vivian – was professional and nice, didn’t rush despite the late time we came in. Asked about the pressure a few times making sure it was as I wanted. The spa is well decorated, calm environment, provided tea and biscuits before starting. Would come back!

An amazing spa experience

An amazing spa experience, we left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.

It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and the team truly went the extra mile by surprising us with a beautiful birthday board, fresh fruit, and a selection of desserts after the spa. Such a thoughtful touch that made the day even more special.

Thank you for the wonderful experience, we’ll definitely be back!

It was a delight from the start

I had the best experience at JM Spa Hanoi. Booked the day before arriving in Hanoi and they got in touch quickly that they can accommodate me for the ordered massage therapy. I had the hot stone massage and nutritious hair wash and it was a delight from the start. Very welcoming staff. Very relaxing atmosphere. And excellent massage. I feel like totally reborn especially after a nine hour flight.

I could hug my masseuse because it was that good

What a lovely place! I chose Sen Spa Hanoi because they were not standing outside asking for business. It looked nice through the window, so I decided to try. I am glad I did! I am walking out a new relaxed person. The 10% off services during the day was another reason. It was my fist Vietnamese massage and I could hug my masseuse because it was that good. Thank you Sen Spa!!

It’s truly a lovely experience

Lovely, lovely spa experience. I took my tired out, picky mother here after a long day of walking and she LOVED the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and her massage. She was so relaxed she fell asleep – definitely a 10/10 place.

Pricewise, this spa may be on the pricier side  for some – but honestly, you get a lot for your money and it’s truly a lovely experience.

I left feeling renewed after a long day

I had a relaxing a rejuvenating massage treatment at La Belle Vie Spa. I originally had booked a 60 min Vietnamese massage, but the receptionist suggested I change my booking for a hot stone and bamboo treatment and it was a great recommendation. I left feeling renewed after a long day walking in Ninh Binh the day before. The spa is clean, the staff and massage therapists are very professional and attentive. I recommend the spa to anyone looking for muscle therapy/ treatment and relaxation in Hanoi.

The massage was so good

I think this is one of the best spa to go here in Hanoi. The spa itself is clean and so fancy look. The massage was so good and I feel relax after a long day. I would definitely go back here for sure.
