The 5 Best Indoor Playgrounds in Ho Chi Minh City for Safe, Fun Times

Safety and Hygiene: A clean and secure environment is non-negotiable when kids are crawling and playing. I looked for facilities with strong sanitization practices and secure entry systems.

Variety of Activities: Boredom sets in quickly if a venue has only a simple slide and a ball pit. I prioritized places that offer a better mix of physical obstacles, role-play, or educational workshops.

Parent Amenities: Caregivers need a comfortable spot to sit while still keeping an eye on the fun. I checked for cafes, waiting areas, and layouts that make supervision easier.

Value and Accessibility: Clear pricing and dependable opening hours make family outings much easier to plan. I weighed the ticket cost against the quality of the facilities and overall convenience.

Keeping active toddlers busy during a rainy weekend can test any parent’s patience. I know the struggle of finding a safe, stimulating place where little ones can burn off energy without taking over the whole living room.

Well, finding the best indoor playground in Ho Chi Minh City makes a real difference! It’s useful, too, if you’re planning a birthday outing or just need an easier afternoon.

To help you out, I looked through local options to see which spots balance safety, play value, and parent comfort. Read on below for the ones that stood out.

How much does an indoor playground cost in Ho Chi Minh City?

Ticket prices for indoor playgrounds across Ho Chi Minh City typically range from 100,000 VND to 250,000 VND for standard child tickets. However, the rates vary by day and whether an adult companion fee applies.

Ticket TypeEstimated Cost (VND)
Standard Child Ticket (Few Hours)100,000 – 250,000
Weekend and Holiday Child Ticket189,000 – 300,000
Adult Companion Fee45,000 – 50,000

1. Penguin Kidsplay & Cafe

penguin-kidsplay-cafe

Website:http://www.penguin.vn/

Address: 86 Tran Thi Nam Street, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12

Contact: 0909 921 582 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday, Wednesday-Friday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Penguin Kidsplay & Cafe feels more neighborhood-friendly than the bigger commercial play centers. It pairs foundational motor-skill zones with a parent waiting area, making it especially well-suited for younger kids who do not need a huge, high-intensity setup.

What stood out to me here is the value. The ticket pricing is relatively affordable, making repeat visits feel more realistic for families rather than turning every play date into a bigger spend.

I was glad to see late-evening hours, plus a child-minding service that can help busy parents squeeze in nearby errands.

Just a heads up: On Tuesdays, this venue doesn’t open until late afternoon. It isn’t a great fit for families who prefer morning routines or earlier preschool-age outings.

Pros

  • Highly affordable ticket pricing
  • Extended evening operating hours
  • Intimate play environment
  • Direct child-minding service

Cons

  • Late opening time on Tuesdays
  • Disrupts established morning routines

Customer Reviews

It’s clean and has lots of fun games.

The place is clean and has lots of fun games, so my younger sibling really enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, and the drinks are delicious. In particular, there’s a separate area for adults, which I really appreciated.

I still find this place the best.

The shop is beautiful, clean, the toys always look new, there are many areas for 2-3 year old children to experience, I have been to many places and still find this place the best, however the ticket price for older children when going on Saturday and Sunday is a bit high, if possible add a few more cars for the children to run around

2. Kiwooza Planet Thiso Mall Sala

Website:http://kiwooza.com/

Address: 3rd Floor, Thiso Mall, 10 Mai Chi Tho Street, TĐ

Contact: 028 224 966 00 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday: 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM

Kiwooza Planet Thiso Mall Sala feels more polished and high-concept than the average play center.

The 1,300-square-meter space combines physical activities with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) play, interactive light features, and workshop-style sessions.

When I visited with my niece, the light installations held her attention almost immediately. The cooking and craft workshops also gave the place more depth than many traditional preschools in the area.

Parents get a more comfortable setup, too. There is an on-site Omi cafe, free adult entry with a purchase, and the mall location makes parking and security much easier than usual.

However, take note that outside snacks carry a service charge, and families are required to buy specific non-slip socks, so the final cost can rise faster than expected.

Pros

  • Dedicated cooking and craft workshops
  • Free parent entry with cafe purchase
  • Modern interactive light shows
  • Secure luxury mall location

Cons

  • Expensive outside food service charge
  • Mandatory branded non-slip sock purchase

Customer Reviews

It was great because of the clean hygiene and large space.

I took my kids here many times and it was great because of the clean hygiene and large space. On some special occasions such as Halloween, etc… they have those interesting acts as the picture below. They also offer workshop on weekdays, my kids love to visit here ’cause they love making cakes..

The service is top-notch.

My child and I make it a habit to visit this place every weekend, and I have to say, it’s absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere here is cozy, offering a private and welcoming space that’s perfect for families. They also organize a variety of captivating events, which my kids adore, especially anything involving Dino. Furthermore, the food served here is simply delicious, and the service is top-notch, leaving me with no complaints whatsoever. In conclusion, this destination truly stands out as an ideal spot for spending quality time with your child.<3

3. Jump Arena Lê Thị Riêng

Website: https://jumparena.vn/

Address: 875 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Hoa Hung Ward

Contact: 1900 636 808 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Jump Arena Lê Thị Riêng is the clearest fit for older kids who have outgrown softer toddler zones. Instead of focusing on pretend play, it leans into movement with trampolines, rock-climbing walls, and more physically demanding obstacle areas.

What impressed me most is that the space feels built for skill-building, not just random jumping. The staff even stay visible on the floor, help beginners with climbing basics, and make the experience easier for first-timers.

The fully air-conditioned setup is another plus, especially in the Ho Chi Minh City heat. Overall, it’s the kind of place where active kids can stay busy for hours without feeling boxed in.

The downside is the weekday schedule. Opening at 2:00 PM makes morning visits impossible, so most families will be limited to after-school trips or weekends.

Pros

  • Graded artificial rock-climbing walls
  • Physical education height development classes
  • Fully air-conditioned training environment
  • Free staff guidance for beginners

Cons

  • Late afternoon weekday opening hours
  • Impossible to schedule morning visits

Definitely bring friends or family—it’s worth it!

This is an awesome spot right near central HCMC. Since there were no time limits this weekend, my kids stayed busy from afternoon until night playing all the different games. Definitely bring friends or family—it’s worth it!

It’s definitely worth a visit.

This is a fantastic recreation spot in HCMC, especially given its convenient location near the city center. Between the wide variety of games and the lack of time limits this weekend, my kids could stay entertained from the afternoon straight through the evening. It’s definitely worth a visit—bring some friends or the nephews along to make the experience even better!

4. MenaWorld

menaworld

Website:https://menaworld.vn/

Address: Tầng B1, Menas Mall Saigon Airport, 60A Trường Sơn, Phường 2, Tân Bình

Contact: 0849 55 57 59 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Sunday: 7:30 AM – 9:30 PM

MenaWorld stands out if safety systems matter to you as much as the play equipment itself. In particular, it uses AI tools and facial recognition for center management, which gives the whole place a more tightly supervised feel.

Inside, the 1,000-square-meter layout covers nearly 20 zones, so there’s a better mix than the usual slide-and-ball-pit formula. I was especially drawn to the balance between creative stations and higher-energy play areas.

The center also says it follows World Health Organization (WHO) safety protocols, and the location beside Tan Son Nhat International Airport makes it a handy option for families with extra time before a flight.

The main catch, however, is the commute. Truong Son can get extremely congested during rush hour, so getting in and out of the area may take more patience than the play session itself.

Pros

  • Massive space with diverse play areas
  • Strict World Health Organization safety protocols
  • Advanced AI interactive entertainment
  • Convenient location near international airport

Cons

  • Severe traffic congestion during rush hour
  • Complicated commute near the airport

Customer Reviews

By far the best we’ve ever seen.

It is an exceptional soft play center. It has ball pits, slides, Lego, merry go round, trampolines, rock climbing, supermarket, craft…. You name it, it has it. By far the best we’ve ever seen. Prices are very reasonable 120,000 vnd (~$6.50 AUD) with no time limit.

Good quality area in good condition and clean.

Good playground for the younger age so safer than having older kids running rampant like many other places. Good quality area in good condition and clean. Friendly staff. Cafe adjoining which is convenient as well as a gourmet supermarket. Will be back again soon

> update: the playground is clean. Staff please keep an eye on parents and kids eating inside as it will quickly make it dirty and unhygienic

5. Beehive Premium Kids Cafe

Website:https://www.facebook.com/

Address: 122-124-126 An Dương Vương, Phường 9, Quận 5

Contact: +84 84 368 8179 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday, Wednesday-Thursday: 10:00 AM – 9:30 PM; Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 9:30 PM; Friday-Sunday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Beehive Premium Kids Cafe works especially well for families planning a birthday or wanting a prettier, more curated setting. The pastel-heavy design separates the kids’ play zone from the adult cafe area, so the whole venue feels styled for events.

I was impressed by how cohesive everything looked. The space has the same polished feel somecool hotels downtown try to create, just adapted for children and parents.

A friend of mine hosted a party here, and the event setup was one of the notable parts. The staff handled custom decorations smoothly, while the play area kept kids busy with ball pits, climbing nets, inflatables, and dress-up role-play zones.

Still, the all-yellow aesthetic can be a lot. For kids with sensory sensitivities, the bold color scheme may feel overstimulating rather than soothing.

Pros

  • Extensively supplied vocational role-play zones
  • Diverse physical climbing obstacles
  • Distinctly separated adult cafe seating
  • Fully equipped premium event hosting

Cons

  • Visually overwhelming pastel yellow aesthetic
  • Challenging for kids with sensory sensitivities

Customer Reviews

Worth coming back to!!!

Clean and spacious. There are separate play areas for children. The menu offers a variety of drinks and food, so families/parents can eat while waiting, and children can have snacks and drinks to replenish their energy after playing. Worth coming back to!!!

The variety of games is really interesting.

Superb place for kids, specially smaller 2-6 year old ones, I would say. The variety of games is really interesting, a lot of wooden toys, a smaller wooden beads pit, several costumes that our children loved, books, Lego, magnetic and block building games. I was really impressed with how everything seems on brand, good design of the space and decoration as well. Also a good place for parents to have some food and drinks while their kids play with CCTV system. There was ceramic painting as well.
