How Much Do Animal Hospital Services Cost in Hanoi?

Animal Hospital services in Hanoi cost 250,000 – 500,000 VND for routine check-ups. The final cost depends on the specific procedures needed to be performed.

Contact: 0977 311 712

Hours: Monday to Sunday 8:30 AM–6:30 PM

Having direct access to advanced diagnostic tools like Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) scanners makes Chien Vet a strong option for accurate, in-depth veterinary assessments.

Their approach is centered on genuine care and responsibility. They follow treatment standards that align with international veterinary practice.

In fact, I recently brought a frightened rescue dog in for a full check-up. From the start, the staff’s attention to detail and compassionate handling really stood out.

Aside from their highly reliable round-the-clock emergency support, they offer an entire ecosystem of pet lifestyle options under one roof. You can easily access some of the finest pet grooming services available locally, alongside an excellent pet hotel.

The main drawback is their location in a narrow alley on Tran Quang Dieu Street, which can make parking and access tricky, especially for larger vehicles.

Pros

  • Advanced imaging technology
  • Round-the-clock emergency support
  • Integrated lifestyle offerings
  • Complex surgical capabilities

Cons

  • Restricted alleyway access
  • Limited vehicle parking

Customer Reviews

I came in today with a cat with a urinary obstruction. He was very stressed and upset and I was crying because my cat was so stressed. The staff were very gentle with him and explained everything to me thoroughly. I appreciated that a lot. They took care of the problem promptly and I feel satisfied.

Thank you!

Nearly two years ago, I had my dog spayed here. The price was a bit higher than other places, but I felt reassured because it was guaranteed.

Now, my dog has digestive problems, so I’ll be coming back for a check-up.

With more than two decades of experience serving local families, they’ve built a solid reputation in the private veterinary sector. Their facilities are also generally well equipped with professional-grade diagnostic tools.

They operate on a full-service model, so you can handle everything from internal medical treatment to more practical services like pet transportation in one place.

That said, their pricing tends to be higher than that of smaller neighborhood clinics due to their investment in advanced equipment.

Service experience can also vary slightly depending on the branch you visit.

Pros

  • Continuous emergency readiness
  • Extensive nationwide network
  • Dedicated exotic pet department
  • Professional-grade testing equipment

Cons

  • Higher service fees
  • Variable branch consistency

Customer Reviews

Being sick and going to the hospital but making such a mess in the cage, I don’t know how to go home. Tomorrow the baby will be discharged from the hospital to go home with his parents. Thank you very much Pethealth ❤️❤️❤️

The hospital is clean, and the doctors are friendly and attentive. My son, Gấu, was hospitalized here and got to stay in an air-conditioned room 24/7. When he went home, he even got a lovely, fragrant bath.

Address: 78 To Ngoc Van, Tay Ho Ward, Hanoi

Contact: 1900 633 093 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Sunday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Emergency Available 24/7

Animal Doctors International (ADI) stands out for its philanthropic model, including support for life-saving treatments for endangered wildlife.

They also maintain a commission-free policy for their veterinarians. This helps keep medical recommendations unbiased and focused purely on patient care.

One of our researchers recently used their international pet relocation service when moving abroad. They managed the compliance paperwork smoothly from start to finish, which made a complicated process much easier to handle.

They also combine conventional veterinary care with holistic options like acupuncture, offering a more gentle approach for older pets.

On top of that, they provide overnight monitoring and well-equipped kennels for cats.

The main drawback is that they only have one branch in Hanoi, located in Tay Ho. The location can be difficult to reach from farther districts like Ha Dong during peak traffic.

Their pricing is also on the higher side, reflecting their international-standard facilities and services.

Pros

  • Unbiased commission-free care
  • Integrates holistic wellness therapies
  • Expert global relocation assistance
  • Philanthropic wildlife funding

Cons

  • Premium expatriate pricing tier
  • Limited geographic city coverage

Customer Reviews

Our experience with ADI is excellent. Dr. Nicolas Mothes is the best Vet and he is caring and patient. He is extremely knowledgeable and talented as well. He is also an amazingly talented surgeon.

We had a chance to meet with Dr. Ana. She took care of our cat Thomas only twice. Though our aquintance was brief, our experience with her was excellent.

Excellent Veterinarians and facilities. Great customer service. Price can be more reasonable as it is a bit expensive.

Thank you so much to the doctor who served us on the day. We appreciate your kindness, patience, and professional attitude towards our first-ever rescued kitten. I hope you get rewarded for your excellent work! The vet had excellent knowledge and great personality. Whilst still maintaining professionalism.

4. VNUA Veterinary Hospital

Address: Veterinary Hospital, Lane 64, Ngo Xuan Quang Street, Trau Quy Ward, Gia Lam District, Hanoi, Vietnam

Contact: 02435 145 145 | 0399.065.115 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Sunday Morning: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM; Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Operating under the academic affiliation of the Vietnam National University of Agriculture gives VNUA Veterinary Hospital a clear scientific edge over typical neighborhood pet clinics.

The facility also serves as a practical training ground, so pets benefit from up-to-date, research-based veterinary protocols.

Their team includes experienced professors and researchers who regularly handle complex internal medicine cases and advanced orthopedic surgeries.

With its large-scale infrastructure, the hospital is also equipped to manage a high volume of different domestic animals efficiently.

That said, because it functions as both a treatment center and a training institution, wait times can be longer than what you’d expect at private, appointment-based clinics.

Its location in Gia Lam district is another consideration, as it can make emergency trips more time-consuming for families based in central Hanoi.

Pros

  • High academic medical rigor
  • Staffed by university researchers
  • Large capacity infrastructure
  • Advanced laboratory testing

Cons

  • Extended lobby wait times
  • Inconvenient suburban geographic location

Customer Reviews

The doctors here are very skilled, enthusiastic, and attentive. I am very grateful to the doctors for saving my dog, even though it was severely ill and received poor quality injections.

I hope more people will know about this veterinary clinic 🥰

The clinic is large but far away, so it’s very quiet. They’re open on Saturdays and Sundays. The doctors are knowledgeable and caring, and the nurses are polite and kind to animals, but they seem to be trainees; they cut one of my dog’s nails that was bleeding and it hurt :((

5. Phòng Khám Thú Y Asvelis – Asvelis Veterinary Clinic

Website:https://asvelis.com/

Address: Floor 1, House G – 98 To Ngoc Van Quang An, Tay Ho Hanoi

Delivering veterinary care aligned with European standards, Asvelis Veterinary Clinic is a reassuring option for expatriates managing pet care in a foreign city.

Their multinational team also helps bridge language and cultural gaps, making consultations more straightforward for international pet owners.

With nearly two decades of history, they’ve built a stable presence that many long-term clients rely on. They also have a dedicated travel department that simplifies complex pet relocation paperwork, which is especially helpful for families moving abroad.

On top of that, you can access both advanced surgical care and boarding services in one place.

That said, their specialized international services come at a premium, which may not suit owners looking for basic or routine care.

Their Tay Ho location can also be inconvenient for those living in the southern parts of the city, especially when quick access is needed.

Pros

  • Strict European care protocols
  • Multi-lingual veterinary staff
  • Expert pet travel coordination
  • Decades of community trust

Cons

  • Expensive consultation fees
  • Concentrated Tay Ho location

Customer Reviews

The entire team at Asvelis is amazing. We needed a veterinary check for our kitten and the team also helped us obtain the necessary export documents for us to bring our kitten home to Canada. They went above and beyond to help us through the process. Would highly recommend their services!

This is the best vet I’ve ever used. They’re really good at diagnosis and give such good treatment and care. I couldn’t recommend enough. It’s a shame I’m no longer in the area, I haven’t found another vets anywhere near as good 🙁 I would only ever use this vet in Hanoi for my babies ❤️ they really know what they are doing here and you can trust them to do the best job. My dogs also really liked the staff and felt comfortable here.
