The 5 Best Day Spas in Ho Chi Minh City for True Relaxation

Accessibility and Location: Evaluating how easily guests can reach the facility is a top priority, especially for those navigating busy urban areas. I looked for central locations and helpful mobility features like internal elevators.

Product Quality: The ingredients applied to your skin matter deeply for a restorative session. I prioritized establishments that use organic materials or partner with recognized premium brands.

Therapist Expertise: Receiving care from adequately trained professionals ensures a safe and effective treatment. I examined whether a spa conducts in-house training or requires rigorous certification before therapists work with clients.

Pricing Transparency: Hidden fees and unclear tipping expectations can quickly ruin a relaxing experience. I favored spas that offer clear pricing structures without surprise service charges.

Treatment Environment: The physical space must support your mental and physical relaxation. I considered the availability of private rooms, quiet areas, and specialized facilities like thermal recovery baths.

Finding a moment to breathe during a hectic schedule is crucial, especially when navigating the energetic streets of Vietnam’s largest metropolis.

Busy professionals often need a way to unwind after long days filled with back-to-back meetings. At the same time, wellness enthusiasts rely on regular self-care to maintain balance and energy.

For both, setting aside time to relax can have a lasting impact on overall well-being. Booking an appointment at one of the best day spas in Ho Chi Minh City can turn a stressful afternoon into a deeply restorative experience.

To help narrow down the options, I explored numerous local sanctuaries across the city. Below are the locations that provide genuine comfort, skilled professional care, and a welcoming atmosphere for anyone looking to relax and recharge.

Website: http://midoluxuryspa.com/

Address: 160 Le Thanh Ton, 1 Dist, TP Ho Chi Minh City

Contact: 0961969554 / (+84-28) 22477070 / [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Sunday 9:00 AM – 12:00 AM

Traveling with family often means sacrificing personal relaxation time, but Mido Luxury Spa changes that narrative. They offer a dedicated children’s area while you receive your treatment.

I booked a session here last month with a friend, and the experience felt seamless from start to finish. The private in-room safe boxes gave me peace of mind about my valuables.

After a long morning exploring the city, the elevator ride up to the treatment rooms was a welcome convenience.

What stood out most to me was their late operating hours. They stay open until midnight, making it easy to fit in an evening recharge.

However, keep in mind that their complimentary one-way taxi reimbursement caps at 50,000 Vietnamese Dong (VND), which rarely covers the full fare during peak traffic.

Additionally, their ten percent discount applies exclusively to morning bookings, limiting savings for afternoon or evening visitors.

Pros

  • Central District 1 accessibility
  • Internal elevator for mobility ease
  • Family-friendly kids play area
  • Individual in-room safe boxes

Cons

  • Limited taxi fare reimbursement
  • Discount restricted to morning hours

Customer Reviews

I had a wonderful experience at Mido Spa. The space is clean, cozy, and very relaxing. The staff are friendly, professional, and highly skilled. The massage was excellent and helped relieve my muscle tension completely. After the session, I felt refreshed and much lighter. The price is reasonable for the quality of service. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to everyone

Great service at Mido Spa! The staff are attentive, caring, and very professional. The atmosphere is relaxing and clean. I especially appreciated the tea and dessert served after the treatment — such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended

2. Saigon Heritage Spa & Massage Club

Website: http://saigonheritage.com/visit-us.html

Address: 69 Hai Ba Trung Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

Contact: 0931348604

Hours: Monday to Sunday 10:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Navigating tipping customs in a foreign city can be stressful, so this establishment immediately puts guests at ease with a transparent pricing policy that covers tips and service charges.

You can also expect a highly standardized level of care, as all therapists undergo rigorous instruction at their proprietary in-house massage school before serving clients.

The treatments feature premium botanical products from reputable brands like THANN, ensuring your skin receives quality attention.

The collaborative management team of Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Korean professionals clearly brings a mix of service styles that makes the overall experience feel polished and professional.

There are a few minor drawbacks to keep in mind. While the ground-floor lobby is charming, some upper-level rooms and shower areas feel slightly dated and damp.

Weekend bookings can also take extra effort, since the online system sometimes redirects you to messaging apps instead of confirming automatically.

Pros

  • No-surprise pricing structure
  • Consistent in-house staff training
  • Premium botanical skincare products
  • Late-night operating hours

Cons

  • Manual app booking process required
  • Older shower and room facilities

My friend and I loved going to Saigon Heritage. We went back twice in two days in the massage place was clean and quiet in private. Some I went with a friend we shared a room divided by a curtain, but it seemed that if you were to go solo you would have your own room. The masseuses were excellent and got out knots I didn’t even realize I had. I would highly recommend Saigon heritage spa.

Went here on the last day of my trip in Saigon, and it turned out to be the best massage I’ve ever had even better than the ones I tried in Thailand. Everything was fantastic! Maybe I was lucky to get No. 53, but if you’re visiting, definitely ask for her. World-class service at an affordable price. I’ll definitely be coming back!

3. My Spa

Website: http://myspa.com.vn/

Address: 15C4 Thi Sách Street, District 1 Ho Chi Minh City

Contact: 09 8997 3309

Hours: Monday to Sunday 10:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Finding an authentic local wellness experience is easy here, as this heritage location focuses entirely on traditional Vietnamese healing methods rather than generic international treatments.

Every session utilizes pure organic products, and almost all massages feature a signature cooling cucumber mask to refresh your skin. This focus on clean ingredients makes it a great alternative for those who typically seek specialized naturopathic services while traveling.

If you’re staying at one of the nearby cool hotels in District 1, their extended operating hours provide a perfect late-night escape after a busy day.

Just be aware that standard services take place in a communal room, so you must explicitly request a private room during your reservation if you prefer solitude.

Their service menu also relies strictly on traditional manual therapies. It lacks the advanced medical aesthetic treatments found at larger clinical centers.

Pros

  • Authentic cultural spa atmosphere
  • Pure organic ingredient policy
  • Convenient late-night availability
  • Optional private couple rooms

Cons

  • Default communal treatment setting
  • Lacks advanced aesthetic therapies

Website: http://www.saspa.vn/

Address: 60 Suong Nguyet Anh Street, Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

Contact: 093 878 9246 / [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Sunday 9:30 AM – 12:00 AM

When I needed a break from the nonstop city noise, I found Sả Spa & Onsen to be the perfect escape. The space feels thoughtfully designed to balance the intensity of urban life with a calming sense of equilibrium.

One feature that really stood out to me was their integrated thermal recovery area. It blends Japanese hot spring traditions with classic Vietnamese therapies for a deeply restorative experience.

I also spoke with a colleague who visits regularly. She praised how they intentionally limit the number of daily guests to maintain a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

The use of pure medicinal herbs and organic products also reassured me, especially for guests who may be more sensitive, including expectant mothers.

Just note that the multi-story layout does not include an elevator, which can be challenging for anyone with limited mobility.

They also have a strict late policy. Arriving more than 15 minutes late results in automatic cancellation, which can feel stressful when traffic is unpredictable.

Pros

  • Integrated Japanese thermal recovery
  • Eco-friendly organic product use
  • Specialized prenatal care options
  • Capped daily guest capacity

Cons

  • No elevator access available
  • Unforgiving late cancellation policy

Lucky for the weekend walk in and still an empty seat! The hot stone oil massage I chose was very comfortable, the young lady who served was very good and professional, and the guy at the front desk could speak Chinese very well. Feeling good and highly recommended!

Wonderful experience at Sa Spa. Staff spoke English and were very professional and kind. The service was well thought of and excellent. They also gave us some tea and yogurt after the session. Highly recommended!

Hours: Monday to Sunday 10:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Enjoying a culturally blended relaxation session is effortless in Temple Leaf Sauna & Spa, thanks to their unique fusion of Japanese communal baths and authentic Vietnamese massage techniques.

You never have to worry about doing mental math at the end of your visit, as their transparent pricing model includes tips and service charges in the listed rates.

Your body is also in excellent hands, as every therapist must pass rigorous tests at their proprietary training academy before serving clients.

Beyond the physical massage, they enhance your recovery with holistic extras like blooming flower tea sourced from central Vietnam.

Unfortunately, those hoping for an early morning soak will be disappointed. The dedicated men’s sauna facilities do not open until the afternoon.

Pros

  • Transparent all-inclusive pricing
  • Rigorously certified massage staff
  • High-end organic skincare brands
  • Central District 1 location

Cons

  • Afternoon-only male sauna hours

Customer Reviews

The service and atmosphere are just wonderful – caring, gentle, and very professional. I also loved the interior: it’s so calming and atmospheric, with pineapple-scented candles, a little waterfall, Buddha figures, and relaxing music. Everything creates the perfect environment to unwind. I truly recommend this experience to everyone!

I had a very good moment there during my layover.

If is not so far from the airport (40min with grab).

I wanted to do the hot bath as well but it is for male only.

You can choose the massage from soft to hard and the masseuse and the staff is very nice.

You get a iced the and/or hot the which is very nice before and after the massage.
